Reykjavík is the natural starting point for any visit to Iceland and its amazing landscape. The island is a country of extreme contrasts and endless possibilities, located on the Mid-Atlantic Ridge where both the North American and Eurasian plates are pulling apart. The Tour will allow you discover Iceland’s surreal environment with waterfalls, geysers, volcanoes, black sand beaches and steaming lava fields. There is nowhere on earth quite like Iceland.

    • The Blue Lagoon is the most famous geothermal pool located in a lava field on the Reykjanes Peninsula.
    • The Golden Circle, an amazing route in South Iceland including Thingvellir National Park, Geyser hot springs and Gullfoss waterfall.
    • Volcano House which shows two unique films on the most powerful eruptions in Iceland during the last 40 years.
    • Reykjavik: the old Harbour, Perlan (winter garden and viewing deck), Harpa (the Concert hall and conference centre).
    • Whale Watching: Iceland is one of the world’s premier whale watching areas with 23 species of whales known to frequent the Icelandic shores.
    • Thingvellir National Park showcases some of the most spectacular, raw natural beauty the world has to offer. The park is also notable for its unusual tectonic and volcanic environment in a rift valley, as well as being one of Iceland’s most historic landmarks.
    • Power Plant Earth is an exhibition telling the story of the beginning of the universe. It is located in a geothermal power plant, surrounded by natural beauty.
    • The Southern Tour is one of Iceland’s most scenic tours taking visitors along the southern coast of the island as far as Vík, a charming village that is home to spectacular black sand beaches

Sample Itinerary

Day 1
Flight to Keflavik airport
  • Airport transfer to Blue Lagoon.   Stop for 1 hour for a refreshing bathe or a swim in the inviting, rejuvenating and pleasantly warm mineral-rich water (36°C-38°C), reputed for its healing properties.
  • Guided sightseeing tour of Reykjavik (Approx. 4 hours)
  • Transfer to hotel in Reykjavik
  • Overnight in your hotel
Day 2
Golden Circle Tour
  • Breakfast in your hotel
  • Embark on Golden Circle Tour (Including Thingvellir National Park & UNESCO World Heritage Site.  Thingvellir is a place of fascinating natural beauty, set on a vast plain flanked by large fissures. Continue on to Gullfoss Falls. Walk around Gullfoss, where the river Hvitá tumbles 32 meters in a double cascade. Finally, visit hot spring Geysers where water eruptions can reach heights of up to 70 metres.

Day 3
Full day - South Shore Adventure
  • Breakfast in your hotel
  • South Shore Tour. Visit waterfalls, lakes, volcanoes, rock formations and caves in this 10 hour tour of sheer Icelandic beauty.
  • Transfer back to your hotel
  • Overnight
Day 4
Depart Reykjavik
  • Breakfast and check out of your hotel
  • Transfer to Reykjanes peninsula to see the mid Atlantic ridge rises from the ocean.
