Day 2
Tour of the Castles
  • Breakfast in your hotel
  • Transfer to Hohenschwangau Castle
  • Visit to the castle which was the childhood residence of King Ludwig II of Bavaria
  • Lunch break
  • Transfer to Neuschwanstein Castle
  • Visit to the castle which was commissioned by King Ludwig II of Bavaria as a retreat and as an homage to Richard Wagner
  • Time at leisure in Fuessen for further sightseeing and shopping
  • Transfer to your accommodation
  • Dinner and overnight in your hotel outside Munich
Day 3
The Bavarian Seaside
  • Breakfast in your hotel
  • Transfer to Chiemsee region called “the Bavarian seaside”
  • Boat from Prien to Herreninsel to visit the Royal Palace of Herrenchiemsee
  • Tour of the Palace, its park, waterworks, the museum & galleries in the Augustinian Monastery
  • Optional boat to the island Frauenchiemsee
  • Boat back to Prien
  • Transfer to your accommodation
  • Dinner and overnight in your hotel outside Munich
Zugspitze Glacier & Flight Home
  • Breakfast in your hotel
  • Transfer to Garmisch-Partenkirchen
  • Cable car to Zugspitze Glacier with its breathtaking views over 400 mountain peaks
