Mediterranean International Cup (MIC)

SPAIN –  11th to 16th April 2017  The MIC Cup is regarded as one of the premier football competitions in Europe drawing teams in from Bayern Munich, FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, The Brazil National Team, FC Porto, Man Utd and many more.  The competition caters for all grades of teams and is a wonderful opportunity for players to compete against some of the most famous clubs. The tournament is held on the Costa Brava which is 45 minutes from Barcelona. 6 Day Tour by Air Includes:

  • Return flights Dublin to Barcelona
  • Luxury Coach transfers to/from airport & accommodation

Tournament Format

Each class will be composed of 32 teams and will be divided into 8 groups of 4 teams each. The system of play will be a league system with each team playing one match against each other. The two teams coming first and second in each group qualify for the finals. The third and fourth teams will pass to the consolation round. Excursions to Barcelona, Nou Camp and Port Aventura can be arranged at a supplement.

Age Groups(Boys):

  • Class A(born after 01/01/98 – 11 a-side)*
  • Class B(born after 01/01/01 – 11 a-side)*
  • Class C(born after 01/01/03 – 11 a-side)*
  • Class D(born after 01/01/05 – 11 a-side)*
  • Class E(born after 01/01/05 – 7 a-side)

Age Groups(Girls):

  • Class F(born after 01/01/98 – 7 a-side)
  • Class G(born after 01/01/03 – 7 a-side)

*For classes A,B,C,D each team can register two players born from July before the year of their age class.
